The author wanted a simple cover for the e-book market. Something striking, something subtle and something that would make readers claw their way into his immersive story of artificial intelligence and human nature. He was not disappointed.

Though set in the near future, we decided to get medieval with this cover. The brutality of the characters actions against the clean horror of good old fashioned space travel felt very hand written in both context and content. Darwinism and bloodstains. The perfect fit for this story.
